We are excited to announce our travels to Budapest, Hungary! Nation Builders
will be partnering with Pastors Miro and Marta Toth and their congregation, Equippers
Budapest. Pastor Miro and Marta have planted and currently pastor two churches, one
out of Budapest, Hungary and another out of Nira, Slovakia. Both campuses have a
thriving marriage ministry as well as next gen ministry. These two churches are a part of
a larger Equipper community with over forty churches across 11 counties. Their mission
is equipping people for life through faith in Jesus Christ.

According to a national 2022 census, 42.5% of Hungary’s population identified
or called themselves Christians. The majority of which are Catholics, then Roman Rite.
Many of the “practicing” Catholics and Roman Rites do not regularly attend church or
are part of a community group but claim the religion because of their parents and
grandparents. This has caused a huge decline in this and the next generation into
finding and becoming connected in a faith-based community. This leaves a question in
many people’s mind of who is God, and why is a relationship with Him so important?

Our goal, while in Budapest, is to help bring light and understanding to these
questions. We will be stepping into the church planting aspect by assisting in with the
children’s, youth, young adult, adult, and community outreach in addition to helping
them adapt and build an improved children’s and student ministry program. Josephine
and I will be also starting our very own e-group and home group, while we are there.
Plan as of now we will be based out of Budapest for the next six months and will be
working for the church on a volunteer basis. We have currently raised the funding for a
portion of our stay there but are still praying and wanting to partner with others to help
raise the rest of the funding to not only go to Josephine and I while we are there, but to

assist in the renovation and rehabilitation project that we will be taking on with the NEW
CHURCH BUILDING!!! Equippers Budapest has acquired and will be moving from the
Jazz Club that they have outgrown to their new cathedral in south Budapest. We will be
leading the construction efforts and renovation as well as assisting in setting up a more
permanent lighting and sound set up for the Sunday services. If you feel led and want to
